US manganese metal sellers immediately raise their price to take into account the higher US tariff on Chinese metal. The new tariff is 34% as of Mar. 1, up from 24%; there was an existing 10% duty in addition to the “old” 14% duty. One truck was sold this week for around $1.20 per lb….
