For many steel grades, including the grades of rebar of concern in China, around 1.7-2.3x as much FeNb is needed compared with vanadium sources (mostly Nitrovan equivalents in China). Depends on a number of factors and the type of V involved. It varies from the types of steels being produced to the standards that need to be met. There are mills in the USA where Nb can be used more lightly than FeV, but that is not the case for most of the world.
