They didn’t submit an environmental statement! They submitted a letter with a project description. They currently have no legal water source, legal access and no proper zoning to even start the environmental process. It hasn’t even started yet. It’s a failing project because of the selected location in Newport, Washington and less than desirable and inexperienced owners of a newly formed company. They had tried to build it in Addy, Washington in a previously occupied industrial smelter site where the public accepted them. But instead they decided to try to construct in Newport and have stirred up a hornets nest… Read more »

Please check your facts. They haven’t filed for even a permit. Please call Washington DOE to confirm this.
