NO need to worry about Ferroglobe since it has always maintained that it is one of the lowest cost of producers and is then of the efficient silicon metal producers. In addition, the company said that the losses in the US and Canada won’t affect its bottom line very much and the recent drop in the stock price was overdone. Also, it still has dumping duties against China and even though it said that China is exporting less silicon as domestic demand increases.
The company still hopes to sell its Spanish power generating plants, and of course its new upgraded metallurgical grade silicon will sweep the PV market and displace sub $20 per kg polysilicon.
