Eskom shuffling coal stockpiles to keep the lights on

Eskom is shuffling its coal stockpiles around to six of its major power generating stations before they run out. South Africa’s Treasury will ante money up to buy spot coal and the power generator hopes not to go to load shedding. Already large parts of Durbin were without power. Most of the problems are in Mpumalanga province where Machadodorp, Middelburg, Witbank, Nelspruit and Lydenburg are located.
