Attached is Ferroglobe’s redacted public brief for this week’s ITC hearing. It disputes some of the points that the importers made, and maintains that it was damaged by imports during the period of investigation. It also wants to exclude Dow’s US silicon smelter from the ITC’s analysis. Ferro globe asserts that all silicon is sold on the basis of price; the price for all grades is inter related, and that major buyers account for a significant portion of US consumption. The company is fighting the case based strictly on dumping rules and regulations.
