Bold talk but can it be followed up?

The ferroalloy market has lots of BOLD sellers, with virtually all the suppliers talking about replacement costs that are much higher than current market levels. The problem is there is little of any spot business to justify the talked about levels. “Every time I turn around,” one supplier told me, “the replacement cost keeps going up based on speculation. I don’t know if any of the supposed sales were real.”
The suppliers are also boldly talking about walking away from business. While most suppliers prized market share and long-term relationships, the talk is that “what good is all that if we were losing money.”
So will all the bold talk become reality?
