EU sunset reviews likely to end all duties now

The EU has apparently decided on a new sunset review policy. Only about 25% of the dumping duties are continued after a sunset review. While that wasn’t the case for silicon metal, it might be the case for ferrosilicon. The penalty duties on ferrosilicon from China and Russia expire on Apr. 2018, with a final decision due 12 to 15 months after the review is started. The current duties on Russian ferrosilicon are 17.8% for Bratsk and 22.7% for all others, while the duties on China are Erdos 15.6% and all others 31.2%,
