EtiKrom’s Robert Yildirim talked the talk and is now walking the walk. Multiple buyers told me that the high-carbon ferrochrome supplier was telling its US buyers that the US wasn’t a profitable market and were looking to sell elsewhere to achieve better returns. Its pretty amazing that the US price is below the Chinese price since China is always considered to be the most competitive market. I expect it won’t be long before EtiKrom is back. Hint: buyers take advantage of this as long as you can.
